Why keep your family's records here.
The paper always goes missing — A prescription from March, a blood report from a lab that shut down, a bill you need for insurance. Photograph each one as it arrives and the shoebox stops being the system of record.
- You can nudge each other, not just remember
- Add your parents to your family on Cedimines and a reminder you set on your phone can reach theirs. The person who remembers the next test isn't the only one who gets to act on it.
- Care happens from far away
- Parents in one city, you in another, a doctor asking what the last HbA1c was. One family, one account, everyone's records where anyone with access can actually reach them.
- A record you can actually trust
- Handwriting is hard. Where a dosage or a date is ambiguous, the app flags it rather than guessing — and nothing is saved until you've checked it yourself.
Built to be shared with your family — not with anyone else.
Every record starts encrypted on the device that captured it. Bringing family in over cloud sync doesn't change that — it just adds who else holds a key.
- Encrypted on every device
- The record database is SQLCipher-encrypted and your original files are sealed with AES-256-GCM. The key lives in the Android Keystore or iOS Keychain — not in the app, and not with us.
- Cloud sync, encrypted before it leaves your phone
- Bringing your family onto one account means your records travel between their devices. They're encrypted client-side into sync envelopes first, so what reaches our servers is unreadable without a key we don't hold.
- Family access, not open access
- You invite people explicitly and set what they can do — view, upload, or act on reminders. Every grant is revocable, and there's a visible record of who accessed what.
- AI consent you can withdraw
- Reading a document sends that one page to an AI model. Cedimines asks before the first time, tells you exactly what is sent, and lets you revoke it in Settings.
- Never sold, never trained on
- Your family's medical data is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising and not used to train models. Cedimines earns from the subscription, or it doesn't earn.
- Locked, and recoverable
- Optional biometric lock on open — face, fingerprint, or a PIN — plus a password-protected .cedimines backup, so losing your phone never means losing everything in it.
Reasonable things to ask first.
Does it work without internet?
Everything already saved — records, timeline, treatments, reminders — works fully offline. Reading a new document, and syncing to family, both need a connection.
What does it cost?
Capturing and keeping your own records is free. Bringing family onto one account — cloud sync, cross-device nudges, doctor-ready PDF exports — is one subscription per family, not per person or per feature.
Do I need to create an account?
Only if you want family cloud sync. Capturing and storing records on one device doesn't ask you to sign in — an account exists to let your family reach the same records, not to gate the core app.
Can it read Hindi, or handwriting?
It handles printed and handwritten Indian medical documents, including mixed English and Devanagari. Handwriting is genuinely hard, so where a date or a dosage is unclear, Cedimines flags it as unconfirmed rather than inventing a value.
I look after my parents from abroad. Does that work?
Yes — that's the case cloud sync is built for. Add them to your family, and a reminder you set or a record they add reaches both your phones. Access is per-person and revocable.
What happens if I lose my phone?
If you're on cloud sync, your family's records are still reachable from another device. Either way, a password-protected .cedimines backup restores your full history onto a new phone.
